FLATCOM base units are a modular design series with multiple axes options, with a maximum of 5 axes configuration. The FLATCOM series are constructed to provide high rigidity and low vibration, offering machining and positioning capability with travel ranges from 600 to 1,400 mm. The standard gantry clearance is 200 mm with optional 300 mm.
The anodized aluminium profiles used for the FLATCOM construction are isel special profiles combining high stiffness and low weight. The Z-axis with T-slot profile (pitch dimension 25 mm) various attachments to be mounted, offering many types of applications. The FLATCOM base units are delivered in five basic rack design sizes. They are available with or without protective enclosure with add-on control cabinet as well as the CNC control panel and arm unit. Space-saving vertically opening doors are installed as part of the protective enclosure Ballscrews with motors offering a positional repeatability of +/-0.01 mm serve as axis drives for the K series.
The linear units are highly accurate with high torsion resistance, with preloaded linear bearings and antibacklash ballscrews assemblies. All units are fitted with two limit switches per axis. The standard FLATCOM base units as well as custommade solutions are constructed with our components, offering smooth and high speed travel.
